Cookie Policy

Neural Prosody, LLC · Effective March 2026

Neural Prosody uses only essential cookies necessary for the operation of its website and submission platform.

We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking cookies, or third-party analytics that collect personally identifiable data.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function correctly, to remember your preferences, and—in some cases—to collect information about your browsing behavior for advertising or analytics purposes. Neural Prosody uses cookies only for the first of these purposes.

Cookies We Use

Cookie Type Description and Purpose
Session cookies (OJS) Required for the operation of the OJS submission platform. These cookies maintain your logged-in state while you are using the submission system and are deleted automatically when you close your browser session. Without these cookies, the submission system cannot function.
Preference cookies (OJS) OJS may store cookies that remember your language preference and display settings within the platform. These cookies do not collect personal data and are used solely to improve your experience on the platform.

Neural Prosody does not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, social media tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that collect personally identifiable data. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or equivalent behavioral tracking services.

Essential Cookies and Your Choices

The session and preference cookies used by the OJS platform are essential to the functioning of the submission system. They cannot be disabled without preventing you from using the platform. If you do not wish to accept these cookies, you should not create an account or log in to the OJS submission system.

You may delete cookies stored on your device at any time through your browser settings. Deleting OJS session cookies will log you out of the submission system. Your browser’s help documentation provides instructions for managing and deleting cookies.

Third-Party Services

Neural Prosody integrates with PayPal for payment processing. When you access PayPal’s payment interface, PayPal may set its own cookies on your device in accordance with PayPal’s Cookie Policy. Neural Prosody does not control PayPal’s use of cookies. We encourage you to review PayPal’s Cookie Policy before completing a payment.

CrossRef and DataCite DOI resolution services may set cookies when you follow a DOI link. These cookies are governed by the respective privacy and cookie policies of those services.

Changes to This Policy

Neural Prosody will update this Cookie Policy if our use of cookies changes. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will implement a cookie consent mechanism prior to doing so and will update this policy accordingly. The effective date at the top of this policy reflects the date of the most recent revision.
